I am a progressive, beginning with Eugene McCarthy for President. I am very glad to see a progressive center open so close to where I live at 6th and Emery. After Macalester College and a liberal Theological Seminary and a year of poetry writing grad school at UMass,I was moved to join the Labor Movement as a custodian at the St.Vrain schools. We eventually joined Afl-CIO. Now retired(graduated), my primary focus will be to write more poems. I am a widely published poet, and worked with Robert Bly, who is both a progressive and a poet.
